Apply a referral code when you start a Studio subscription or upgrade from Community. A code may include a discount. Check the offer shown in Checkout before you pay.
Apply the code in Checkout
- Choose Studio during signup, or choose Upgrade to Studio in your workspace.
- In Checkout, select Have a code?
- Enter your referral code, then select Apply.
- Read the code confirmation and the discount in the order summary.
- Review the total before completing payment.
If you arrived through a referral link, check whether the code is already applied.
Watson compares a code’s offer with your available Studio discount over the first 12 months at the selected billing interval. It applies the offer with the larger saving. If the savings match, your existing Studio discount stays. Discounts do not stack.
For example, on monthly billing, 20% off every payment saves more over the first year than 30% off only the first payment. Checkout keeps the 20% offer and confirms that the code was applied.
Correct or remove a code
If Checkout says That code is not valid, check the spelling or ask the person who shared it for a current code. Codes use 3 to 24 letters and numbers.
Before subscribing, select Remove beside an applied code to remove it. A workspace that already subscribed with a code keeps that code, so the field cannot replace it.
A valid code can have no discount. In that case, Checkout says the code has no discount and shows the total you will pay.
See Subscription discounts for what a Studio discount covers.
