Archive a project to keep its history while removing it from active views. An archived project is read-only. Restore it when your team needs to work on it again.
Archive a project
- Open the project and select Settings.
- Under Danger Zone, select Archive.
- Review the confirmation and select Archive again.
The This project is archived notice appears in Settings. Archived projects do not appear in the client’s Active or Completed project lists in Portal.
Restore a project
- In Studio, open Projects. Find the project in the table below the featured project cards. Its status reads Archived.
- Select its row and open Settings.
- In the archived notice, select Restore project.
- Check for Project restored. The project returns to Active, and authorized teammates can edit it again.
For example, restore a completed campaign’s archived project when the client requests a follow-up. The project becomes Active even if it had a different status before archiving.
If the workspace is also archived, an Owner must reopen it before you can restore the project. Use Workspace settings in the notice to reach the workspace’s Danger Zone.
Restoring the project does not change the client’s permissions or Portal publication settings. Check Share work with clients if the client still cannot see it.
